Common fault solutions for medical pendant

Common problems with medical pendant

1. Arm, terminal box and instrument platform are not flexible

Common reasons:

(1). The nut at the upper joint bearing of the pipe is too tight.

(2). The nut at the middle beam joint bearing is too tight.

Solution:

Adjust the tightening nut.

2. The rotation angle of the arm, terminal box and instrument platform exceeds 340°, and cannot be limited.

Common reasons:

(1). The positioning pin is broken becaue of excessive force.

(2). The positioning pin is detached.

Solution:

Replace the positioning pin.

3. Drifting; medical pendants sometimes appear to drift, which will cause unnecessary trouble to surgery, affecting the efficiency of surgery.

Common reasons:

Usually because the base of the pendant is not flat, or the bracket is shaken.

Solution:

Reinforce the pendant bracket.

4. The button does not work, the work indicator does not light, or the work indicator light, but the brake and lift do not work.

Common reasons:

(1). Switching power supply is damaged

(2). The overload protection circuit work because the instrument platform is overloaded.

(3). The motor is short-circuited to make the overload protection circuit work.

(4). Poor contact of the connector or short circuit of the control line causes no control signal to the input end of the electrical box and causes no action

(5). The board is damaged or the components are in poor contact and the solder is soldered.

Solution:

(1). Replace the switching power supply

(2). Remove the heavy objects on the instrument platform

(3). Repair or replace the motor

(4). Replace the connector, control line

(5). Replace the board

5. Medical pendant gas terminal leaking

Common reasons:

(1). The medical gas terminal is not reset or the terminal seal is damaged.

(2). There is debris in the gas source to catch the terminal.

Solution:

(1). Repeatedly plugging and unplugging with a secondary terminal plug to reset it

(2). Replace the medical gas terminal

(3). Remove the debris in the gas terminal
